Position Overview
The Lead Digital Asset & Blockchain Strategy Specialist will develop, manage, and execute Qatar’s emerging digital asset ecosystem initiatives, with a focus on blockchain integration, tokenization strategies, and decentralized financial infrastructures. The role emphasizes strategic innovation, system integrity, and cross-border digital asset collaboration.
Key Responsibilities

Define digital asset strategies, architecture, and operational models integrating blockchain and smart contract frameworks.

Lead initiatives for asset tokenization, digital securities issuance, and decentralized financial products.

Oversee interoperability of distributed ledgers and digital asset custody frameworks.

Build scalable blockchain ecosystems with high throughput, resilience, and regulatory compliance.

Partner with financial institutions, regulators, and technology firms to establish digital asset governance frameworks.

Research and recommend emerging blockchain protocols for institutional finance and remittance systems.

Direct feasibility studies for CBDC integration and blockchain-enabled real-time settlements.
Qualifications
-
Master’s degree in Blockchain Technology, Financial Engineering, or Digital Finance.

8–12 years’ experience in blockchain systems strategy, digital asset management, or DLT architecture.

Technical proficiency in Ethereum, Hyperledger, or Layer-2 protocols.

Familiarity with international digital asset regulations and global crypto-compliance frameworks.

Strong leadership and ecosystem coordination skills.
