Position Overview

As a Lead Cross-Border Payments & Digital Currency Strategist, you will design and operationalize next-generation payment corridors, leveraging digital currencies, distributed ledger technologies, and advanced settlement frameworks.

Strategic Scope

This role is both visionary and executional—requiring the ability to conceptualize future-state payment systems while delivering tangible, scalable solutions across international markets.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cross-border payment architectures with real-time settlement capabilities.
• Design frameworks for integrating digital currencies into existing financial infrastructures.
• Optimize FX routing, liquidity management, and transaction cost efficiency across payment corridors.
• Lead initiatives in interoperability between traditional banking systems and decentralized networks.
• Build strategic alliances with global financial institutions, payment networks, and fintech innovators.
• Ensure adherence to international compliance standards, including AML, KYC, and transaction monitoring.
• Conduct deep market analysis to identify emerging trends in global payments and currency digitization.

Expertise Requirements

• Extensive experience in international payments, FX markets, and treasury operations.
• Strong understanding of blockchain protocols, tokenization, and digital currency frameworks.
• Familiarity with SWIFT modernization, real-time gross settlement systems, and payment orchestration layers.
• Ability to design resilient, scalable financial networks across jurisdictions.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate macro-financial shifts.
