Role Overview
A rapidly scaling fintech initiative in Riyadh is hiring a highly skilled Lead Blockchain Solutions Developer – Financial Products & Smart Contract Systems to lead the development of blockchain-powered financial products across lending, payments, digital identity, and asset tokenization platforms.
This role focuses on building real-world financial applications powered by blockchain technology—where smart contracts automate financial agreements, reduce operational friction, and enhance transparency across digital ecosystems.
The successful candidate will lead the design and deployment of decentralized applications (dApps) that integrate seamlessly with fintech platforms, enabling innovative financial products tailored for both consumers and enterprises.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead development of smart contracts for lending platforms, payment systems, escrow services, and asset tokenization
- Design and build decentralized applications (dApps) integrated with fintech platforms
- Collaborate with product teams to translate financial requirements into blockchain-based solutions
- Ensure security, reliability, and scalability of blockchain applications
- Integrate blockchain systems with APIs, payment gateways, and backend financial services
- Conduct smart contract testing, auditing, and optimization
- Implement governance mechanisms for decentralized financial systems
- Optimize transaction performance and cost efficiency across blockchain networks
- Support compliance alignment with Saudi fintech regulatory frameworks
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership within the team
- Stay updated on emerging blockchain technologies and industry trends
Required Candidate Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
- 5+ years of software development experience with strong blockchain expertise
- Proficiency in Solidity, JavaScript, Python, or similar programming languages
- Experience with Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or similar blockchain platforms
- Strong understanding of smart contract architecture and decentralized systems
- Familiarity with Web3 libraries, APIs, and frontend integration
- Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Saudi fintech ecosystem preferred
Preferred Skills
- Experience with DeFi protocols and financial product development
- Knowledge of identity management systems on blockchain
- Exposure to cross-chain technologies and interoperability solutions
- Familiarity with blockchain analytics and monitoring tools
