About the Role
An internationally focused fintech banking institution is seeking a highly innovative Lead Blockchain Product Developer – Financial Innovation to spearhead the development of enterprise blockchain products that enhance digital banking capabilities, streamline financial operations, and deliver innovative customer experiences.
This strategic role bridges software engineering, blockchain development, product innovation, and financial technology. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary initiatives involving blockchain-enabled payment solutions, programmable financial products, digital identity services, asset tokenization, smart contract automation, and next-generation financial platforms.
Working alongside enterprise architects, UX/UI designers, cloud engineers, cybersecurity specialists, compliance professionals, product managers, banking operations teams, and executive leadership, you will help define the organization’s blockchain product strategy while delivering enterprise-grade solutions for regional and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end blockchain product development from concept through deployment and continuous enhancement.
- Develop secure smart contracts supporting digital financial services and automated transaction processing.
- Build blockchain-enabled applications integrating with banking systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to create intuitive blockchain-powered customer experiences.
- Work closely with product management to define product roadmaps and technical priorities.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, interoperability, and operational resilience.
- Participate in blockchain architecture governance and technical design reviews.
- Ensure secure coding standards and enterprise security practices are maintained.
- Support product testing, quality assurance, and release management.
- Evaluate emerging blockchain frameworks and recommend strategic technology investments.
- Mentor blockchain developers and contribute to engineering capability development.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation, solution architecture diagrams, and implementation guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Financial Technology, or related discipline.
- Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Minimum 7–10 years of software development experience, including extensive blockchain application development.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise fintech or banking solutions.
- Strong knowledge of blockchain platforms, smart contract development, API integration, and secure application design.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
