Bitcoin is evolving into a multi-layered financial ecosystem, enabling applications far beyond simple transactions. This role is centered on product innovation, designing platforms that unlock new utility across payments, savings, lending, and financial inclusion.
Strategic Mandate
To conceptualize and launch Bitcoin-native fintech products, including:
- Bitcoin payment platforms and merchant solutions
- Savings and yield products built on Bitcoin rails
- Cross-border remittance systems leveraging Lightning
- Financial inclusion tools for underbanked populations
Core Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management
- Define product vision, roadmap, and execution strategy
- Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, design, and compliance
- Drive product-market fit through iterative experimentation
2. Bitcoin Payment & Utility Platforms
- Design merchant payment systems using Lightning Network
- Build seamless onboarding experiences for users and businesses
- Integrate fiat on/off ramps and multi-currency support
3. Ecosystem Development
- Identify strategic partnerships across fintech, banking, and crypto ecosystems
- Foster developer communities and API ecosystems
- Expand product reach across GCC and emerging markets
4. Innovation & Emerging Use Cases
- Explore Bitcoin-backed lending and savings models
- Develop programmable payment use cases
- Evaluate integration with evolving financial infrastructure (e.g., CBDCs interoperability)
Candidate Profile
- 8–15 years in fintech product leadership or digital platforms
- Strong understanding of Bitcoin ecosystem and user behavior
- Experience launching scalable financial products
- Ability to translate complex technology into user-centric solutions
- Strategic thinker with execution capability
