Lead Architect – Payments & Financial Intelligence Systems | Qatar
Location: Remote (Qatar-based)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Remote
Salary Structure: QAR 70,000 – 90,000 per month + Profit-Sharing (15–25%) + Project Milestone Bonuses
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Lead Architect for Payments & Financial Intelligence Systems to design, deploy, and optimize advanced fintech platforms in Qatar. This fully remote role requires expertise in AI-driven financial intelligence, cross-border payment systems, and blockchain settlement architecture, with executive-level oversight of strategic and technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Architect and implement scalable, secure, and intelligent payment systems including e-wallets, card networks, cross-border remittance, and blockchain-enabled settlements.

Integrate AI/ML models for real-time fraud detection, predictive analytics, and financial monitoring.

Ensure compliance with Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) regulations, FATF guidelines, and international standards.

Collaborate with remote teams across engineering, product, compliance, and operations to define requirements, KPIs, architecture, and operational standards.

Lead technical audits, stress-testing, and platform optimization initiatives to ensure reliability, security, and performance.

Drive continuous innovation in payment processing, financial intelligence, and user experience across digital platforms.

Mentor and develop remote technical teams to advance expertise in AI, blockchain, and secure cloud-native systems.

Oversee multi-project delivery, resource allocation, and strategic alignment with corporate objectives.
Required Expertise & Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Fintech, Information Systems, or related field.

10–15 years of experience in payments, financial intelligence systems, or digital banking architecture.

Advanced knowledge of AI/ML analytics for transaction intelligence, blockchain settlements, and cloud infrastructure.

Proven leadership in remote, multi-disciplinary technical teams.

Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary: QAR 70,000 – 90,000 per month
