Position Overview
The Lead AI-Driven Payments & Fintech Intelligence Architect will guide the design and deployment of predictive, adaptive, and autonomous digital payment frameworks that align with Qatar’s vision for advanced fintech and AI innovation.
This role requires an elite technologist with an analytical mindset capable of synthesizing artificial intelligence, data science, and real-time payments intelligence into a unified fintech architecture serving both institutional and retail ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities

Architect next-generation payment ecosystems utilizing AI for fraud prediction, identity verification, and behavioral transaction scoring.

Develop scalable machine learning pipelines to detect systemic financial anomalies in real-time.

Design adaptive API infrastructures connecting financial data lakes, digital wallets, and blockchain settlement layers.

Integrate AI governance frameworks ensuring ethical algorithmic decision-making and bias mitigation in financial transactions.

Oversee partnerships with digital banks, fintech startups, and AI research labs across GCC innovation networks.

Build regulatory-grade analytics dashboards to support data transparency, risk scoring, and supervisory oversight.
Qualifications

PhD or Master’s in Artificial Intelligence, Computational Finance, or Data Science.

8–10 years of experience in AI systems design, financial intelligence, or real-time payment analytics.

Mastery of data engineering, neural network optimization, and predictive transaction modeling.

Strong understanding of Qatar’s fintech innovation programs under QCB and QFC.
Preferred Expertise

Experience with GPT-based transaction intelligence models and blockchain analytics.

Familiarity with ISO 20022 migration frameworks, PSD2 standards, and open API security.

Expertise in multi-currency digital wallet architectures and tokenized settlement platforms.
