Institutional Purpose

This role is conceived as an institution-level mandate, not a corporate job. The Institutional Lead for National Digital Payments & Financial Infrastructure Design is responsible for conceptualising how a modern digital payments ecosystem should be structured, governed, and sustained at national scale.

The position is fully remote and focuses on long-term system integrity, not execution, vendor management, or operational delivery.

Mandated Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end digital payment system architectures, including settlement, clearing, and interoperability layers

• Define governance and oversight models for large-scale financial infrastructure

• Develop frameworks for real-time payments, transaction resilience, and system redundancy

• Produce institution-grade documentation, including system charters, infrastructure frameworks, and strategic models

• Anticipate future stress scenarios and embed systemic risk controls into architectural design

• Align digital payment architecture with global standards and cross-border compatibility

Ideal Profile

• 18–25 years in financial infrastructure design, payments architecture, or fintech system governance

• Proven independence and credibility in remote, high-trust advisory roles
