Strategic Purpose

This role governs the design of transaction-level risk systems, financial control architectures, and oversight mechanisms that ensure trust, transparency, and systemic stability within advanced fintech environments.

The mandate focuses on preventative architecture, embedding risk intelligence and control logic directly into financial transaction flows rather than relying on retrospective monitoring.

Primary Responsibilities

• Architect transaction-risk and financial-control frameworks across digital payment and financial platforms

• Define system-embedded controls for anomaly detection, compliance enforcement, and operational resilience

• Establish governance models for financial risk escalation and audit readiness

• Align technical risk frameworks with Bahraini regulatory expectations and international control standards

• Collaborate with compliance, legal, and technical specialists in a fully remote capacity

• Produce comprehensive control architecture documentation

Expertise Requirements

• 12+ years in financial risk systems, transaction monitoring, or fintech controls architecture

• Strong background in regulated financial environments and control framework design

• Deep understanding of transaction flows, financial data integrity, and system-level risk mitigation

• Proven ability to design controls that scale without operational friction
