Summary:
In its quest to become a hub of programmable finance and institutional-grade decentralized innovation, the UAE requires pioneering infrastructure that bridges the gap between regulated finance and permissionless innovation. The Head of Programmable Finance Infrastructure & DeFi Integration will lead the design of a modular, extensible architecture enabling financial institutions, family offices, and sovereign wealth entities to securely engage with DeFi primitives—under full compliance.
This role will spearhead the creation of tokenized liquidity infrastructure, regulated smart contract frameworks, and real-asset-integrated DeFi rails, blending liquidity, compliance, and programmability in ways that empower next-generation capital formation across the Gulf and beyond.
Responsibilities:

Build modular DeFi primitives for institutional usage — including automated market makers (AMMs), overcollateralized lending pools, and DAO governance tools under regulatory guardrails.

Develop token orchestration layers that allow real assets (REITs, sukuk, carbon credits, infrastructure bonds) to interact seamlessly with programmable money flows.

Create regulated proxy-bridges to major public blockchains (Ethereum, Solana, etc.) using KYC-compliant on-chain identity infrastructure.

Collaborate with UAE regulatory entities (VARA, ADGM FSRA, DIFC DFSA) to create rulebooks for programmable smart contract deployment and treasury operations.

Launch liquidity orchestration engines capable of routing funds across CeFi, DeFi, and RWA protocols in real-time with exposure control.

Design a real-time reporting layer using zk-proofs, regulatory oracles, and tokenized audit trails to ensure transparency and operational safety.
Ideal Profile:

10+ years in blockchain finance, DeFi architecture, or token economy design.

Mastery of Solidity, Rust, or Cairo; experience with security audits and smart contract formal verification.

Familiarity with UAE’s regulatory frameworks on virtual assets and real-world tokenization.

Advanced degree in Cryptoeconomics, Computer Science, or Digital Asset Engineering.
