Position Overview
The Head of Open Banking & Embedded Finance will oversee Kuwait’s API-driven digital finance ecosystem, integrating embedded financial services, AI-powered customer analytics, and real-time payment platforms. This role requires expertise in fintech infrastructure design, compliance automation, and strategic ecosystem development.
Key Responsibilities

Design open banking frameworks connecting banks, fintechs, and third-party providers.

Lead the creation of embedded finance platforms for payments, lending, and micro-investment products.

Integrate AI analytics for real-time predictive insights into customer behavior and financial trends.

Ensure compliance with Kuwait’s regulatory and data privacy standards, and maintain cross-border interoperability.

Drive adoption of innovative financial technologies across the consumer and institutional markets.
Qualifications

Master’s or Ph.D. in Financial Technology, Digital Systems, or AI in Finance.

10+ years’ experience in open banking, embedded finance, or AI-driven fintech ecosystems.

Expertise in API architecture, microservices, AI-enhanced financial analytics, and digital payments systems.

Familiarity with GCC fintech regulations and cross-border open finance standards.
