Position Summary:
We are looking for a visionary Head of Islamic Digital Finance Product to architect and scale cutting-edge fintech products that align with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives around digital transformation and Shariah-compliant financial inclusion.
The role focuses on a broad portfolio of ethical finance solutions—ranging from digital Takaful platforms, AI-driven Zakat optimization tools, to blockchain-powered Sukuk distribution networks. The ideal candidate possesses a nuanced grasp of both traditional Islamic financial instruments and how they can be reimagined using modern, cloud-native technologies and decentralized trust models.
Strategic Domains of Responsibility:
📜 Islamic Product Innovation & Ethical Structuring

Design Takaful products with smart pooling mechanics, digital claims processing, and tiered Shariah governance certification.

Build dynamic digital Zakat calculators, charitable giving engines, and endowment (Waqf) management platforms, using behavioral AI and geolocation data.

Architect Sukuk-as-a-Service platforms with on-chain issuance, investor onboarding, and secondary market resale functions, while ensuring AAOIFI and IFSB compliance.
🕌 Shariah Governance Integration

Interface with Shariah scholars and legal experts to codify financial contracts (Ijara, Murabaha, Salam) into digitally enforceable templates.

Design transparency frameworks for ethical audits, donation flow tracking, and profit distribution in risk-sharing contracts (Mudarabah, Musharakah).
🌍 Platform Development & Go-to-Market Execution

Collaborate with engineering on the MVP development of consumer-facing apps and institutional dashboards, using agile methodology.

Lead market research initiatives in Saudi Arabia to identify gaps in Islamic digital banking, investment literacy, and youth participation in Halal financial products.

Oversee roadmap for customer education, embedded compliance, and UX design with culturally sensitive interfaces.
🔐 Compliance, Data Integrity & Islamic Cybersecurity

Ensure product alignment with the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) digital finance directives and Islamic Data Ethics standards.

Incorporate biometric authentication, secure digital onboarding (Nafath), and seamless integration with Tawakkalna and Absher APIs for national identity verification.
Candidate Requirements:

10+ years in fintech, Islamic finance, or ethical product management, with 3+ years in a senior leadership or go-to-market capacity.

Strong knowledge of Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh al-Muamalat), preferably with certification from AAOIFI or INCEIF.

Demonstrated ability to manage remote engineering/product teams, interface with investors and scholars, and oversee scalable product delivery.

Preferred: Experience in launching Islamic fintech platforms or collaborating with Saudi-based banks, sovereign entities, or Shariah boards.
