Position Overview
A rapidly expanding financial technology environment in Dubai is seeking a highly accomplished Head of Fintech Operations – Digital Payments & Financial Services to lead end-to-end operational excellence across payment platforms, customer financial services, transaction management, service delivery, and enterprise process optimization.
This role is designed for a senior operations leader who understands how to manage the complexity of high-volume fintech ecosystems while maintaining service reliability, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and scalable operational efficiency.
The successful candidate will oversee operational strategy across digital payments, merchant services, customer onboarding, reconciliation workflows, transaction monitoring, and service continuity frameworks. This is a leadership role for professionals capable of balancing execution discipline with long-term strategic transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize all fintech operational functions across payments, customer servicing, transaction processing, and financial platform support
- Develop enterprise-wide operational strategies aligned with growth, scalability, and customer experience objectives
- Strengthen payment processing workflows, settlement operations, reconciliation systems, and service reliability standards
- Oversee merchant onboarding, customer onboarding, KYC coordination, and account servicing efficiency
- Drive operational excellence across transaction monitoring, exception handling, dispute resolution, and service continuity
- Build automation strategies that improve operational speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency
- Partner with compliance, finance, product, and risk teams to ensure strong operational governance
- Establish operational KPIs, performance dashboards, and executive reporting frameworks
- Improve customer experience through service delivery optimization and workflow redesign
- Manage vendor relationships and operational partnerships across financial infrastructure providers
- Lead crisis management protocols and operational resilience planning
- Build and mentor high-performing operations leadership teams across multiple business functions
- Support executive leadership with strategic operational recommendations and performance insights
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, Financial Technology, or related field
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 10+ years of operations leadership experience within fintech, payments, banking, or financial services
- Strong expertise in payment operations, transaction management, and financial service delivery
- Deep understanding of UAE financial operations standards and digital payment ecosystems
- Experience managing large-scale operational transformation programs
- Strong leadership presence and executive stakeholder management capability
- Proven ability to scale operations in high-growth fintech environments
