Role Overview
Remittances are a critical component of global financial flows, particularly across emerging markets. This role is for a strategic leader who can design and scale digital remittance platforms, expanding payment corridors and optimizing global money movement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global remittance strategy, including corridor expansion
- Build partnerships with banks, payment providers, and fintech platforms
- Optimize cross-border transactions for speed, cost, and reliability
- Design pricing strategies and revenue models for remittance services
- Monitor KPIs such as transaction volume, corridor growth, and customer acquisition
- Ensure compliance with cross-border regulations and AML requirements
- Drive innovation in global payments and remittance solutions
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Business, or Economics
- 10+ years in payments, remittances, or fintech
- Strong understanding of cross-border payment systems
- Experience with global payment networks and partnerships
- Proven leadership in strategic and operational roles
Preferred Expertise
- Experience with digital wallets and mobile payments
- Knowledge of FX and liquidity management
- Familiarity with emerging market payment trends
- Strong commercial and analytical acumen
