An internationally recognized financial technology enterprise is seeking a highly accomplished Head of Financial Cloud Engineering to lead the modernization of enterprise cloud infrastructure supporting digital banking platforms, intelligent payment ecosystems, AI-powered financial applications, and mission-critical financial services.
This strategic leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee cloud transformation initiatives, strengthen platform resilience, and establish engineering standards that enable secure, scalable, and always-available financial services across regional and international markets.
As a senior member of the technology leadership team, you will collaborate with enterprise architects, cybersecurity specialists, DevSecOps engineers, product leaders, and executive stakeholders to accelerate innovation while maintaining exceptional operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise cloud engineering strategy for financial platforms.
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
- Design resilient, high-availability cloud infrastructure supporting digital financial services.
- Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks and cloud automation solutions.
- Strengthen platform security, governance, and operational resilience.
- Collaborate with software engineering and AI development teams.
- Monitor cloud performance, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
- Lead engineering teams across multiple regional projects.
- Establish cloud engineering best practices and technical governance.
- Present strategic technology initiatives to executive leadership.
Professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Cloud Computing.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in cloud engineering or enterprise infrastructure.
- Expertise in AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD, and Linux.
- Professional certifications in cloud technologies are highly desirable.
- Previous experience within fintech, banking, or enterprise financial services is an advantage.
