The Head of Digital Payments Strategy & Ecosystem Design is responsible for conceptualising, structuring, and evolving payment ecosystems that are scalable, interoperable, and future-ready. Working remotely, the role influences how value moves across digital channels, platforms, and financial touchpoints.
Strategic Responsibilities

Design end-to-end digital payments strategies covering initiation, processing, settlement, and reconciliation.

Define ecosystem models linking merchants, platforms, financial institutions, and technology providers.

Establish principles for interoperability, resilience, and extensibility across payment rails.

Analyse emerging payment trends and translate them into long-term strategic direction.

Produce strategy papers, ecosystem blueprints, and executive-level insights.
Ideal Professional Profile

12+ years in fintech, payments strategy, or financial platform leadership.

Deep understanding of payment value chains and platform-based financial services.

Ability to think at ecosystem level rather than product or feature level.

Strong narrative and analytical communication skills.
