Position Overview

An international fintech initiative focused on modern digital payment solutions is seeking a Head of Digital Payments Operations to oversee operational strategy and performance across its remote fintech infrastructure.

This leadership role is responsible for ensuring efficient management of digital payment systems, operational workflows, and cross-border financial transaction processes. The successful candidate will lead operational initiatives that support secure, scalable, and reliable financial technology services.

The position requires deep knowledge of digital payment ecosystems, financial transaction processing, fintech operational governance, and global financial infrastructure management.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Digital Payments Operations Management

• Lead operational oversight of digital payment processing systems and financial transaction workflows.

• Ensure smooth processing of high-volume payment transactions across digital financial platforms.

• Develop operational procedures supporting fintech service reliability and efficiency.

Operational Strategy & Performance

• Design operational strategies that improve performance across financial technology services.

• Establish operational performance indicators for fintech platforms.

• Implement operational monitoring systems to maintain service stability.

Risk & Compliance Alignment

• Coordinate with compliance and risk management teams to ensure fintech operations align with international regulatory frameworks.

• Monitor operational risks associated with digital financial systems.

• Support regulatory readiness and internal compliance reporting processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with product development and engineering teams to improve fintech platform functionality.

• Coordinate operational activities with financial analytics, security, and infrastructure teams.

• Support leadership teams with operational insights and performance analysis.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Financial Technology, Economics, or Information Systems.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in fintech operations, digital payments management, or financial services operations.

Technical Knowledge

• Digital payment processing systems

• Financial transaction infrastructure

• Payment gateway technologies
