Head of Digital Payments Architecture & Ecosystem Strategy (Qatar)
Role Mandate
This position is designed as a strategic blueprint leadership function, responsible for defining and orchestrating a next-generation digital payments ecosystem. The mandate extends beyond operational oversight into architectural design, interoperability frameworks, and ecosystem expansion.
Primary Strategic Domains
1. Payments Architecture Design
- Construct scalable frameworks for real-time payments, cross-border flows, and wallet integrations.
- Define modular architectures that support future fintech innovations.
2. Ecosystem Development
- Design partnerships across financial institutions, payment networks, and emerging platforms.
- Enable interoperability between various payment channels and systems.
3. Innovation & Transformation
- Introduce new payment capabilities aligned with global fintech trends.
- Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
Operational Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of payment strategies.
- Ensure system scalability, security, and reliability.
- Align payment infrastructure with evolving regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate across technical and strategic teams.
Competency Framework
- Deep knowledge of digital payments, financial infrastructure, and fintech ecosystems.
- Strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities.
