Strategic Mandate & Operating Context

This role focuses on designing and scaling intelligent digital lending platforms, delivering automated credit decisioning, risk-based pricing, and portfolio optimization. The Head of Digital Lending will operate remotely while shaping Qatar’s digital finance landscape, optimizing platform operations across retail, SME, and institutional credit markets.

The position requires end-to-end oversight of credit systems, risk analytics, and operational scalability, ensuring automated platforms are resilient, transparent, and compliant with evolving financial regulations.


Core Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture of digital lending and credit decision platforms, integrating origination, underwriting, and servicing.

  • Deploy advanced AI and data analytics for credit risk assessment, fraud detection, and portfolio management.

  • Define system-level governance, compliance, and operational risk frameworks.

  • Oversee integration with payment systems, KYC/AML verification processes, and external financial datasets.

  • Monitor platform performance, ensuring scalability, fault tolerance, and regulatory adherence.

  • Provide strategic oversight on product roadmap, market expansion, and platform innovation.

  • Mentor technical and financial teams in best practices for risk-based lending technology.


Professional Profile

  • 12+ years in digital lending, fintech credit platforms, or automated risk systems.

  • Strong expertise in data-driven credit modeling, intelligent underwriting, and portfolio management.

  • Familiarity with GCC regulatory requirements and cross-border lending compliance.

  • Proven leadership in scaling high-volume, multi-market lending systems.

  • Exceptional strategic communication and executive decision-making skills.


Compensation Structure (Qatar Benchmark)

  • Base Monthly Salary: QAR 60,000 – QAR 85,000

  • Annual Strategic Bonus: 30% – 50% of base salary

  • Long-Term Incentive: Multi-year lending platform performance award
