Location Anchor: State of Qatar (Remote – Global Fintech Focus)

Role Concept

This position exists for a fintech executive who understands that digital assets are infrastructure, not speculation. The role centers on designing and governing platforms that support tokenized financial instruments, programmable assets, and distributed ledger-based financial services.

The Head of Digital Asset Platforms will define how tokenization, smart-contract systems, and decentralized settlement models integrate into regulated financial ecosystems at scale.

Strategic Objectives

• Design enterprise-grade digital asset platforms capable of institutional adoption.

• Define token lifecycle frameworks spanning issuance, custody, transfer, and redemption.

• Architect programmable financial products using smart-contract logic.

• Establish interoperability between traditional financial systems and distributed ledgers.

Key Responsibilities

Platform & Protocol Design

• Architect multi-layer digital asset platforms with clear separation of protocol, application, and governance layers.

• Define standards for token models, metadata, and lifecycle controls.

• Design custody, key-management, and access-control frameworks.

Governance & Risk Management

• Establish operational controls for digital asset issuance and circulation.

• Define compliance-ready transaction monitoring and reporting models.

• Ensure platform resilience against protocol, operational, and cyber risks.

Market & Ecosystem Strategy

• Evaluate emerging distributed ledger technologies for scalability and institutional readiness.

• Define integration strategies with payments, banking, and capital markets infrastructure.

• Provide thought leadership on the evolution of tokenized financial systems.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 12+ years in fintech, financial infrastructure, or digital asset systems.

• Deep understanding of distributed ledger technologies and smart-contract platforms.

• Experience designing platforms intended for institutional or large-scale financial use.

• Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on technical fluency.

• Ability to operate independently in a remote, executive-level capacity.
