Position Overview
The Head of Blockchain Systems & Digital Asset Architecture will spearhead Qatar’s national approach to blockchain technology adoption and digital asset development. The role requires exceptional expertise in decentralized finance, cryptographic systems, and interoperability frameworks that enable secure, scalable, and compliant fintech ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities

Define blockchain adoption strategy for financial and institutional ecosystems.

Develop frameworks for digital asset issuance, custody, and compliance.

Lead architecture design for interoperable blockchain and cross-chain financial platforms.

Oversee smart contract governance, DeFi risk structures, and tokenization standards.

Integrate AI and distributed ledger technologies for intelligent financial automation.

Partner with international organizations to align digital asset policies with global benchmarks.

Promote education and innovation across the blockchain and fintech ecosystem.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Advanced degree in Blockchain Engineering, Financial Systems, or Computer Science.

10+ years’ professional experience in blockchain architecture or digital asset strategy.

Expertise in DLT frameworks such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, and Layer-2 solutions.

Strong understanding of digital finance regulation and data security governance.
