Position Overview
The Head of Blockchain Ecosystems & Digital Asset Strategy will spearhead the creation and governance of Qatar’s next-generation digital asset ecosystem. The position focuses on developing interoperable blockchain frameworks, tokenization infrastructure, and decentralized finance (DeFi) models aligned with global fintech trends and national innovation objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Define the strategic roadmap for digital asset innovation, blockchain adoption, and tokenized finance integration.

Oversee the design and deployment of DLT systems for institutional and retail financial applications.

Manage interoperability between blockchain networks, ensuring scalability, compliance, and security.

Develop standards for digital asset custody, smart contract governance, and cryptographic integrity.

Lead collaboration with global blockchain alliances, fintech accelerators, and research institutions.

Integrate AI and blockchain technologies to enhance transparency, risk modeling, and market analytics.

Establish policy frameworks in coordination with financial regulators to ensure responsible innovation.

Drive education and thought leadership on blockchain governance and digital asset strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Master’s degree in Blockchain Engineering, Financial Innovation, or Computer Science.

10+ years’ experience in blockchain architecture, digital asset management, or fintech product strategy.

Strong understanding of DeFi, tokenization, and distributed ledger interoperability.

Proficiency in Ethereum, Hyperledger, and emerging Layer-2 technologies.

Familiarity with international digital asset regulatory frameworks and compliance models.
