Position Overview
The Head of Blockchain & Digital Assets will define Qatar’s strategic roadmap for blockchain adoption, tokenized finance, and decentralized financial infrastructure. The role requires expertise in smart contract governance, DeFi integration, and secure digital asset frameworks, enabling scalable, interoperable, and compliant fintech ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities

Develop blockchain and digital asset strategies aligned with national fintech goals.

Architect interoperable distributed ledger systems and smart contract governance frameworks.

Integrate AI and blockchain to enhance financial intelligence, automation, and security.

Collaborate with regulators and international bodies on digital asset compliance standards.

Lead tokenization initiatives, DeFi platform development, and cross-border financial innovation.

Drive education, adoption, and innovation within the national fintech ecosystem.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Master’s degree in Blockchain, Financial Technology, or Computer Science.

10+ years of experience in blockchain architecture, digital assets, or decentralized finance.

Strong knowledge of Ethereum, Hyperledger, Layer-2 solutions, and smart contract frameworks.

Experience with global digital asset regulation and cross-border fintech integration.
