Position Overview
The Head of Blockchain & Digital Asset Strategy will define Qatar’s strategic roadmap for blockchain adoption, tokenized finance, and decentralized financial infrastructure. The role emphasizes secure, scalable, and compliant ecosystems, integrating smart contract governance, DeFi protocols, and AI-driven analytics.
Key Responsibilities

Develop blockchain strategies and tokenized financial instruments.

Architect interoperable distributed ledger systems for payments, settlements, and DeFi platforms.

Oversee smart contract governance, compliance, and risk frameworks.

Integrate AI and blockchain for enhanced financial intelligence, automation, and security.

Collaborate with regulators and global fintech organizations on digital asset adoption and standards.

Lead initiatives promoting financial inclusion and ecosystem education.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Master’s degree in Blockchain, Financial Technology, or Computer Science.

10+ years’ experience in blockchain architecture, digital assets, or decentralized finance systems.

Strong knowledge of Ethereum, Hyperledger, Layer-2 solutions, and smart contract frameworks.

Experience with regulatory frameworks for digital assets and cross-border financial innovation.
