Position Overview
The Head of Blockchain & Digital Asset Strategy will define Qatar’s digital asset and blockchain strategy, overseeing tokenization frameworks, DeFi integration, and smart contract governance. The role focuses on secure, scalable, and interoperable digital asset infrastructures supporting a forward-looking national fintech ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities

Develop blockchain strategies and tokenized financial instruments.

Architect interoperable distributed ledger systems for payments, settlements, and DeFi products.

Lead smart contract governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.

Integrate AI and blockchain for enhanced financial analytics, fraud prevention, and automation.

Partner with international blockchain consortia and fintech innovators.

Establish regulatory and operational standards for digital asset adoption and ecosystem scalability.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Master’s degree in Blockchain, Financial Technology, or Computer Science.

10+ years in blockchain architecture, digital assets, or decentralized finance systems.

Strong knowledge of Ethereum, Hyperledger, Layer-2 solutions, and DeFi protocols.

Experience working with regulatory authorities on digital asset compliance and governance.
