Executive Summary
We are seeking a Remote Head of Blockchain & Digital Asset Strategy to lead blockchain adoption, tokenized asset management, and decentralized finance initiatives in Qatar and across the GCC. This senior executive role blends technical expertise, strategic foresight, and regulatory insight to advance secure and scalable blockchain-based financial ecosystems.
The ideal candidate will drive innovation in digital assets, DeFi protocols, and AI-enhanced asset management while ensuring full compliance with regional regulations. This role combines governance, architecture, and thought leadership to shape the future of digital finance in the GCC.
Core Responsibilities

Lead design, implementation, and governance of blockchain solutions, including smart contract platforms, tokenized assets, and DeFi infrastructure.

Collaborate with regulators, legal advisors, and fintech stakeholders to ensure compliant adoption of digital assets.

Develop governance frameworks and operational security protocols for digital asset management and cross-border financial transactions.

Assess emerging blockchain protocols, AI-driven asset intelligence, and DeFi innovations for strategic adoption.

Oversee multi-disciplinary remote teams responsible for blockchain solution delivery, risk management, and operational oversight.

Produce strategic insights, whitepapers, and recommendations for blockchain adoption and digital asset regulation.

Maintain alignment with Qatar Central Bank and GCC-wide regulatory guidelines while enabling innovation.
Qualifications & Expertise

10+ years of experience in blockchain, digital asset management, or fintech strategy roles.

Proven track record of deploying enterprise-level blockchain solutions and tokenized investment products.

Strong understanding of GCC fintech regulatory frameworks, digital asset compliance, and decentralized finance.

Demonstrated leadership in managing remote, multi-country teams in fintech projects.

Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and executive stakeholder engagement skills.
