Position Overview

A rapidly advancing fintech ecosystem in Dubai is seeking a highly accomplished Head of AI Strategy – Fintech Intelligence & Digital Banking to lead enterprise-wide artificial intelligence transformation across digital payments, financial decision systems, customer intelligence platforms, fraud prevention architecture, and next-generation banking automation.

This role is designed for a senior AI leader who understands how to merge advanced machine learning capabilities with real-world financial services execution. The successful candidate will architect AI strategies that improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, strengthen fraud controls, optimize credit intelligence, and create scalable financial technology solutions across regional and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization’s AI transformation roadmap across all fintech operations
• Lead AI strategy across digital banking, transaction monitoring, customer intelligence, and payment optimization
• Build intelligent financial systems for fraud detection, AML monitoring, onboarding automation, and predictive risk analysis
• Design machine learning models for customer segmentation, behavioral scoring, and financial personalization
• Oversee AI applications across lending intelligence, merchant analytics, and payment performance optimization
• Collaborate with product, engineering, compliance, and finance teams to integrate AI into core financial platforms
• Introduce generative AI solutions for financial support automation and operational workflow efficiency
• Ensure responsible AI governance, model transparency, and regulatory compliance standards
• Drive AI experimentation labs, proof-of-concept pilots, and scalable deployment strategies
• Strengthen data architecture required for AI maturity and enterprise intelligence capabilities
• Present executive AI strategy recommendations to senior leadership and board stakeholders
• Build and lead high-performing AI, data science, and financial intelligence teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Finance, or related discipline
• Master’s degree in AI, Machine Learning, Financial Technology, or MBA preferred
• 8+ years of leadership experience across AI, fintech, digital banking, or financial services transformation
• Strong expertise in machine learning, predictive analytics, and financial intelligence systems
• Deep understanding of UAE fintech markets and digital finance regulations
• Experience across fraud prevention, transaction intelligence, and customer financial analytics
• Strong leadership presence with executive stakeholder management capability
• Proven success delivering AI strategy in regulated financial environments
