The Group Head of Digital Banking Transformation & Core Modernization is entrusted with leading one of the most complex undertakings in modern financial services: the complete re-engineering of legacy banking systems into agile, digital-first architectures.

This role is structured as a multi-year transformation mandate, encompassing core banking replacement, digital channel reinvention, and enterprise-wide system integration. The successful candidate will act as both a transformation strategist and execution leader, ensuring seamless alignment between business objectives, technology delivery, and regulatory frameworks.

Transformation Pillars

1. Core Banking Modernization

• Lead the migration from legacy core banking platforms to next-generation, modular banking systems.

• Oversee vendor selection, system integration, and phased deployment strategies.

2. Digital Channel Reinvention

• Redesign mobile and online banking experiences using customer-centric, data-driven approaches.

• Integrate omnichannel capabilities for seamless user engagement across platforms.

3. Enterprise Architecture Alignment

• Establish enterprise-wide architecture standards, ensuring interoperability across systems.

• Implement API-first strategies to enable ecosystem connectivity.

4. Change Management & Organizational Transformation

• Drive cultural transformation toward agile methodologies and digital-first thinking.

• Align internal stakeholders across business, technology, and operations.

Leadership & Technical Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in banking transformation, fintech, or large-scale technology programs.

• Proven track record in core banking migrations and digital transformation initiatives.

• Strong expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud computing, and system integration.

• Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing large, cross-functional teams.
