Across United Arab Emirates, financial institutions are confronting a structural inflection point: legacy core banking systems—historically monolithic, batch-driven, and inflexible—are no longer capable of supporting real-time, API-native, and ecosystem-integrated financial services.

This role exists to lead a full-spectrum transformation of core banking architecture, transitioning toward:

  • Event-driven, real-time processing engines

  • Break monolithic cores into:
    • Microservices-based banking functions
    • API-accessible financial primitives
  • Enable independent scaling of deposits, payments, lending modules

2.3 Event-Driven Financial Architecture

  • Implement event streaming platforms:
    • Kafka / Pulsar-based transaction propagation
  • Enable real-time state synchronization across all financial services

2.4 Integration Layer Modernization

  • Build API gateways enabling:
    • Open banking compliance
    • Third-party ecosystem participation
  • Design orchestration layers connecting:
    • Legacy systems
    • Fintech platforms
    • External financial services

2.5 Migration & Coexistence Strategy

  • Architect phased migration frameworks:
    • Parallel run strategies
