- Break monolithic cores into:
- Microservices-based banking functions
- API-accessible financial primitives
- Enable independent scaling of deposits, payments, lending modules
2.3 Event-Driven Financial Architecture
- Implement event streaming platforms:
- Kafka / Pulsar-based transaction propagation
- Enable real-time state synchronization across all financial services
2.4 Integration Layer Modernization
- Build API gateways enabling:
- Open banking compliance
- Third-party ecosystem participation
- Design orchestration layers connecting:
- Legacy systems
- Fintech platforms
- External financial services
2.5 Migration & Coexistence Strategy
- Architect phased migration frameworks:
- Parallel run strategies
- Data reconciliation models
- Ensure zero disruption to existing financial operations
