Role Overview
The Group Director of Global Digital Banking Transformation & Financial Ecosystem Strategy will lead a high-level strategic mandate to design, integrate, and scale next-generation digital banking ecosystems within Saudi Arabia’s rapidly diversifying fintech landscape. This position commands deep expertise in financial systems re-engineering, cross-border interoperability, and technology-enabled financial governance, setting a new benchmark for digital banking excellence across the GCC.
Key Responsibilities

Architect and oversee the execution of a comprehensive digital banking transformation roadmap, integrating AI, blockchain, and data analytics into banking operations.

Lead the modernization of legacy infrastructure into cloud-native, API-driven, and fully interoperable financial ecosystems.

Direct initiatives that enhance financial inclusion, open banking compliance, and real-time data exchange standards.

Collaborate with regulatory authorities to align digital finance frameworks with global compliance models (BIS, FATF, ISO 20022).

Develop strategic partnerships with fintech consortia, central institutions, and innovation labs to foster sustainable digital banking ecosystems.
Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 15 years in fintech transformation, digital banking strategy, or global financial innovation.

Advanced knowledge of banking architecture, payments modernization, and digital finance regulation.

Proven success in leading financial transformation initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.

Master’s or Doctorate in Financial Engineering, Systems Design, or Digital Transformation Leadership.
