A highly advanced fintech ecosystem undergoing large-scale transformation of national and enterprise financial intelligence infrastructure is seeking a visionary Group Chief Data & AI Officer – Financial Intelligence, Risk Modeling & Real-Time Decision Systems to lead one of the Gulf region’s most sophisticated data-driven financial modernization programs.
This executive role is designed for elite data leadership professionals capable of architecting next-generation financial intelligence systems where real-time analytics, predictive modeling, AI-driven decision automation, enterprise data orchestration, fraud intelligence, credit intelligence, and cross-platform data interoperability operate as a unified financial brain for high-volume digital ecosystems.
The organization is aggressively investing in cloud-native data platforms, AI model governance frameworks, streaming analytics infrastructure, machine learning operations (MLOps), and enterprise-scale data lakes designed to support banking systems, payment networks, fintech platforms, and government financial ecosystems.

Strategic Executive Overview
The Group Chief Data & AI Officer will oversee enterprise-wide transformation of financial data ecosystems, AI governance structures, predictive analytics platforms, and real-time decision intelligence systems across multiple financial verticals.
This role combines executive data leadership, AI architecture governance, enterprise analytics modernization, digital financial transformation, and large-scale machine intelligence deployment.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide data transformation strategy across financial ecosystems and digital platforms
- Design scalable AI and analytics architectures supporting real-time financial decisioning
- Build predictive risk modeling systems for credit, fraud, liquidity, and operational exposure
- Develop enterprise data governance frameworks ensuring compliance, quality, and integrity
- Oversee cloud-native data infrastructure modernization (data lakes, lakehouse, streaming systems)
- Implement MLOps pipelines supporting continuous deployment of financial AI models
- Coordinate cross-domain data integration across banking, payments, fintech, and enterprise systems
- Drive advanced analytics for customer behavior, transaction intelligence, and market forecasting
- Establish enterprise-wide data security, privacy, and ethical AI governance standards
- Supervise real-time analytics platforms for high-frequency financial environments
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies shaping next-generation financial intelligence ecosystems
- Mentor multidisciplinary teams across data engineering, AI research, analytics, and governance functions
Candidate Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- 15–20 years of experience in enterprise data architecture, AI systems, or financial analytics ecosystems
- Strong expertise in large-scale distributed data systems and real-time analytics platforms
- Deep understanding of machine learning lifecycle management and model governance
- Proven leadership in building enterprise AI and data transformation programs
- Experience in banking, fintech, or large-scale financial systems strongly preferred
- Exceptional executive leadership and strategic communication capabilities
- GCC or global financial data infrastructure exposure highly advantageous
