This role is designed for a senior fintech authority responsible for the architectural conception, long-term evolution, and operational integrity of global digital payment infrastructures. The position sits at the core of modern financial ecosystems, where high-velocity transaction flows, real-time processing, and multi-currency settlement mechanisms converge.
Operating fully remotely, the role uses Dubai as a strategic anchor for international finance, innovation, and regulatory connectivity. The successful candidate will influence how payment systems are structured at scale, ensuring resilience, extensibility, and performance across diverse transaction environments.
Key Responsibilities & Scope

Architect end-to-end digital payment systems, covering initiation, authorisation, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation layers

Design transaction orchestration frameworks capable of handling high-volume, low-latency payment flows

Define scalable models for real-time payments, wallet infrastructures, and API-driven payment ecosystems

Establish governance standards for fault tolerance, system redundancy, and operational continuity

Lead architectural reviews and define long-term technology roadmaps for payments platforms

Collaborate with distributed engineering, data, and financial operations teams to align infrastructure with strategic objectives
Professional Profile & Expertise

12–18 years of experience in fintech, payments engineering, or financial systems architecture

Deep technical understanding of payment lifecycles, transaction routing, and settlement logic

Advanced expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and event-driven processing models

Proven experience designing infrastructures that support international, multi-currency payment operations

Exceptional analytical thinking, documentation discipline, and remote collaboration capability
Compensation Structure

Annual Compensation: AED 540,000 – 820,000 (tax-free)
