Role Overview
Oman is investing significantly in artificial intelligence to transform its financial sector. This role will drive AI-first fintech strategies, from predictive risk analytics and intelligent credit scoring to natural language-driven wealth management platforms. The Chief will define, implement, and govern AI/ML models across the financial ecosystem, ensuring both innovation and compliance with ethical AI standards.
Core Responsibilities

Lead development of AI-powered credit scoring, customer segmentation, and real-time fraud detection systems.

Oversee predictive analytics frameworks for capital markets, portfolio optimization, and risk modeling.

Implement natural language processing for customer-facing digital assistants and wealth advisory platforms.

Govern ethical AI deployment, ensuring transparency, fairness, and compliance with international AI governance standards.

Collaborate with regulators and academic institutions to shape Oman’s AI-in-finance policy frameworks.
Candidate Profile

15+ years’ experience in AI/ML with a strong fintech orientation.

Technical depth in deep learning, reinforcement learning, and graph-based AI models.

Demonstrated expertise in building scalable AI platforms using cloud-native and edge computing environments.

Experience leading multinational, remote-first AI research and engineering teams.
