📌 Mission Statement

Oman’s regulatory strategy is boldly embracing the future of finance—positioning itself as the region’s ethical digital finance incubator, particularly across Shari’ah-compliant DeFi (Decentralised Finance). This visionary role leads the design and deployment of global halal DeFi ecosystems, built on interoperable liquidity pools, zero-interest staking modules, and trust-minimised protocols that honor both economic efficiency and spiritual ethics.

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Halal DeFi Protocol Engineering: Architect protocols for lending, liquidity farming, asset insurance, and DAO-governed investment—all aligned with prohibitions against riba, gharar, and unethical speculation.

• Cross-Chain Interoperability: Design asset bridges across Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, and private Islamic chains to allow movement of halal tokens, sukuk-backed NFTs, and zakat-led staking pools.

• FatwaChain Validator Network: Build and manage a decentralized validation network governed by Islamic legal scholars, embedded with dynamic fiqh triggers and self-executing fatwa logic.

• Halal Yield Aggregators: Launch halal-only DeFi yield aggregators using real-world asset feeds (sukuk yields, ethical equities, halal token indexes) and dynamically adjust APYs according to Islamic risk principles.

• Digital Ethics Governance Layer: Integrate a real-time ethical compliance oracle that flags transactions or liquidity flows that deviate from Islamic values, automatically pausing operations and alerting governance actors.

🎓 Candidate Criteria

• 10+ years in DeFi, Islamic fintech, or crypto infrastructure development.

• Deep understanding of blockchain-based smart contract development (Solidity, Substrate, CosmWasm).

• Grounding in Islamic commercial jurisprudence and ability to translate legal rulings into machine-readable formats.

• Previous work in interoperable blockchain ecosystems or religiously anchored financial systems.

• Ph.D. in Blockchain Ethics, Islamic Economics, or Decentralised Governance highly regarded.
