Strategic Role Overview

This role is intended for a senior fintech leader responsible for the modernisation, re-architecture, and long-term evolution of core banking and digital ledger platforms supporting next-generation financial services. The mandate emphasizes resilience, modularity, and scalability, enabling the transition from legacy systems to API-driven, real-time financial infrastructures aligned with Saudi Arabia’s rapidly expanding digital finance ecosystem.

Operating remotely, the Global Lead will serve as a strategic and technical authority, guiding large-scale transformation initiatives across distributed engineering and architecture teams.

Key Strategic Responsibilities

  • Define multi-year roadmaps for core banking and ledger modernisation initiatives

  • Architect modular, cloud-native financial platforms supporting real-time processing

  • Oversee migration strategies from legacy systems to modern digital architectures

  • Establish governance for data integrity, transaction accuracy, and operational resilience

  • Lead cross-functional, international teams delivering mission-critical financial platforms

  • Act as senior authority during platform audits, system validations, and transformation reviews

Expertise & Leadership Profile

  • 15+ years in core banking systems, financial platforms, or large-scale fintech architecture

  • Proven leadership in complex system transformation and platform modernisation programs

  • Deep understanding of ledger systems, transaction processing, and financial data models

  • Strong ability to operate autonomously within fully remote, global teams

  • Executive-level communication and governance capability

Salary Structure (International Senior Benchmark – Saudi-Aligned)

  • Base Annual Salary: USD 165,000 – USD 220,000

  • Annual Performance Incentive: 25% – 35%

  • Long-Term Platform Impact Awards: Multi-year incentive pool
