Role Overview
The Global Head will lead Oman’s positioning in the open banking and API economy, ensuring the creation of secure, scalable, and innovation-friendly platforms that connect banks, fintechs, and consumers in a unified digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities

Architect Oman’s national open finance framework, aligning with global interoperability standards.

Drive innovation in API-based services including account aggregation, real-time credit scoring, and embedded lending.

Develop cybersecurity and digital trust frameworks for third-party integrations and cross-border data flows.

Partner with global financial institutions to integrate Oman into international open banking corridors.

Oversee the deployment of cloud-native and microservices-based digital infrastructure to support fintech scalability.
Ideal Candidate

15+ years of leadership in fintech innovation, digital banking, or financial APIs.

Strong grounding in API security, data privacy, and cross-border financial compliance.

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Financial Technology, or Systems Engineering.

Demonstrated success in scaling open banking ecosystems at national or cross-market levels.
