Role Overview

Kuwait is accelerating its digital financial inclusion agenda, demanding a payments visionary capable of designing borderless, intelligent, and resilient ecosystems. As the Global Head of Intelligent Payments & Cross-Border Transaction Systems, you will engineer AI-first, blockchain-ready frameworks that redefine real-time settlement, CBDC alignment, and embedded finance solutions across consumer and enterprise landscapes.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead next-gen payments infrastructure integrating AI, ISO 20022 standards, and DLT-powered settlement rails.

• Design CBDC-compatible payment platforms, ensuring seamless integration with central bank frameworks.

• Deploy AI-driven fraud and anomaly detection systems, using advanced ML and behavioral analytics.

• Expand merchant ecosystems with embedded finance, BNPL integrations, and real-time API banking.

• Establish cross-border interoperability systems enabling frictionless GCC–EU–APAC payment corridors.

• Negotiate with regulators to set benchmarks for digital payments compliance and operational resilience.

Ideal Profile

• 18+ years in payments innovation, real-time settlements, or transaction banking transformation.

• Proven expertise in CBDC pilots, AI-driven fraud systems, and blockchain interoperability layers.

• Strong regulatory fluency across AML, KYC, data sovereignty, and systemic payment resilience.

• Demonstrated leadership in scaling multi-million-user payment ecosystems.
