This role is engineered for a fintech authority specializing in quantitative risk systems, real-time control engineering, and algorithmic governance frameworks. The mandate is to build risk infrastructures that are predictive, adaptive, and embedded directly into financial operations, rather than treated as retrospective oversight functions.

Operating remotely, the role supports Oman’s growing digital finance capabilities while maintaining international risk management standards and analytical rigor.

Core Mandate & Responsibilities

  • Architect real-time risk engines spanning credit, transaction, operational, and systemic risk domains.

  • Design quantitative control frameworks that dynamically enforce limits, thresholds, and exposure constraints.

  • Integrate predictive risk models directly into payments, lending, and digital finance workflows.

  • Establish governance standards for model validation, explainability, and audit readiness.

  • Lead the evolution of risk analytics dashboards and decision intelligence platforms.

  • Act as the strategic authority on risk-by-design fintech architecture and quantitative governance systems.

Required Technical & Domain Depth

  • Advanced expertise in financial risk modeling, quantitative analytics, and control system design.

  • Strong command of statistical methods, scenario analysis, and real-time data processing.

  • Experience deploying risk engines within high-volume, regulated financial environments.

  • Ability to balance model sophistication with operational reliability and transparency.

Salary Structure (Indicative – Remote, Oman-Focused)

  • Base Monthly Compensation: OMR 7,500 – OMR 11,000

  • Annual Risk Performance Bonus: OMR 35,000 – OMR 65,000
