Strategic Role Mandate
This role governs how fintech platforms scale efficiently, predictably, and economically as transaction volumes, user demand, and system complexity increase. The mandate is not engineering execution alone; it focuses on performance economics, throughput optimisation, and scalability governance at platform and ecosystem level.
The Global Head will define how scalability becomes a managed, measurable, and strategic capability, embedded within fintech platforms from architecture through operations.
Core Strategic Responsibilities

Architect platform scalability frameworks addressing throughput, latency, and cost efficiency at scale.

Design performance-economics models linking system load, infrastructure consumption, and financial impact.

Establish governance standards for capacity planning, scaling thresholds, and performance accountability.

Integrate scalability intelligence with transaction engines, data platforms, and operational monitoring systems.

Guide long-term strategies for sustainable platform growth without performance degradation.

Advise leadership on scaling trade-offs, investment timing, and system resilience limits.

Serve as a strategic authority on fintech scalability as a competitive and systemic differentiator.
Ideal Candidate Profile

16+ years in fintech platform architecture, large-scale systems engineering, or performance strategy roles.

Proven experience scaling high-volume, mission-critical financial platforms.

Strong understanding of distributed systems, performance modelling, and cost-performance optimisation.

Ability to communicate scalability risk and opportunity at executive and board level.

Systems thinker with strong commercial and strategic awareness.
Salary & Compensation Structure (UAE – Indicative)

Base Annual Compensation: USD 220,000 – 310,000

Platform Performance Bonus: 30% – 45% of base
