Overview
The Global Head of Financial Data Intelligence & RegTech Systems will pioneer Bahrain’s evolution into a regional center for regulatory technology and financial data analytics. This high-impact leadership role integrates data science, AI, and compliance automation to redefine financial supervision, digital reporting, and governance intelligence across global fintech ecosystems.
Strategic Responsibilities

Regulatory Data Platforms: Design and implement RegTech ecosystems automating compliance workflows, risk analytics, and regulatory submissions.

AI & Machine Learning Integration: Leverage deep learning and NLP to detect anomalies, identify systemic risks, and enhance data transparency.

Supervisory Technology (SupTech): Develop tools enabling real-time regulatory surveillance and data harmonization for fintech operators.

Cross-Border Governance: Create frameworks ensuring interoperability between regulatory datasets across GCC and global jurisdictions.

Data Ethics & Privacy: Establish ethical data usage protocols aligned with GDPR, CPRA, and Bahrain’s Personal Data Protection Law.

Ecosystem Development: Partner with digital banks, neobanks, and fintech startups to advance Bahrain’s RegTech and DataOps infrastructure.
Core Competencies

Expert command of RegTech frameworks, data governance, and AI-driven compliance automation.

Proven experience in designing regulatory data systems and high-scale analytics engines.

Knowledge of global standards in digital identity, AML/KYC automation, and data ethics governance.

Strong analytical, architectural, and policy coordination skills across complex fintech ecosystems.
Qualifications

Master’s or PhD in Financial Analytics, Regulatory Systems, or Data Engineering.

Minimum 10 years’ experience in data intelligence, fintech governance, or RegTech strategy.

Prior leadership in global fintech compliance or AI-enabled risk systems preferred.
