Role Summary
Kuwait’s emerging payment landscape is transitioning toward open, interoperable, and AI-enhanced frameworks. The Global Head of Digital Payment Architecture will lead the strategic design of cross-border digital transaction systems, real-time settlement frameworks, and multi-currency interoperability models powered by blockchain, AI, and advanced cryptographic protocols.
Strategic Duties

Architect the national-scale payments modernization framework, enabling instant settlement, tokenized asset transfer, and digital currency interoperability.

Develop an AI-powered payments intelligence layer for predictive fraud detection, liquidity forecasting, and behavioral analytics.

Establish cross-border settlement protocols leveraging blockchain interoperability (ISO 20022, CBDC alignment, and stablecoin integration).

Collaborate with regulators and international clearinghouses to define the future standards of GCC remittance networks and fintech corridors.

Implement quantum-secure encryption and identity assurance mechanisms across all transaction endpoints.
Required Expertise

12+ years in digital payments, blockchain architecture, or financial systems engineering.

Extensive experience in payment gateway orchestration, API standardization, and digital asset exchange frameworks.

Advanced understanding of AML/KYC automation, RegTech-enabled supervision, and financial inclusion policy design.

Technical mastery of DLT consensus algorithms, interoperability frameworks, and data privacy engineering.
