Role Overview
An elite executive opportunity designed for a forward-thinking fintech strategist with mastery in digital finance architecture, cross-border payment ecosystems, and AI-driven regulatory frameworks. The Global Head of Digital Finance Architecture & Strategic Innovation will oversee the conception, governance, and execution of next-generation financial technology ecosystems designed to redefine the UAE’s integration within the global digital economy.
This position requires strategic systems thinking, advanced understanding of macro-financial digital frameworks, and the ability to bridge financial policy innovation with deep technological architecture.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design of global-standard digital financial infrastructures encompassing open banking, programmable money, and tokenized asset platforms.

Develop scalable frameworks for integrating central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), cross-border instant payments, and multi-asset token ecosystems.

Oversee enterprise architecture for digital trust networks, ensuring cybersecurity, data privacy, and financial stability resilience.

Collaborate with global regulatory stakeholders to align UAE fintech ecosystems with international standards (ISO 20022, BIS CPMI, FATF, and IMF Digital Finance directives).

Design quantitative impact models evaluating systemic risk and cross-platform financial interoperability.

Direct strategic fintech policy initiatives supporting innovation, financial inclusion, and digital governance convergence.
Qualifications

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Financial Engineering, Systems Design, or Economics.

12+ years’ leadership experience in fintech systems strategy, financial infrastructure, or regulatory technology.

Proven expertise in distributed ledger technology, algorithmic risk governance, and macro-financial modeling.

Deep understanding of open finance, CBDC frameworks, and digital asset infrastructure.
