Overview
The Global Head of Digital Banking Infrastructure & Cloud Strategy will oversee the strategic modernization of Qatar’s digital banking environment through cloud-native architectures, API orchestration, and scalable financial service frameworks. The role demands an architect-level strategist with mastery over hybrid financial cloud ecosystems, digital resilience, and enterprise orchestration across fintech institutions.
Key Responsibilities

Architect next-generation digital banking ecosystems leveraging microservices, containerization, and AI orchestration layers.

Establish end-to-end digital resilience frameworks integrating cybersecurity, data continuity, and sovereign cloud compliance.

Lead migration strategies for legacy financial infrastructure into cloud-native fintech environments.

Develop operational governance for API marketplaces enabling embedded banking and ecosystem integration.

Collaborate with regulators to enhance compliance, privacy, and operational transparency in cloud-finance integration.

Direct multidisciplinary teams in designing secure digital banking ecosystems aligned with GCC and global cloud governance protocols.
Required Expertise

15+ years in digital banking transformation, cloud strategy, or fintech systems architecture.

Deep technical expertise in hybrid and multi-cloud financial infrastructure.

Proven leadership in data governance, cybersecurity, and enterprise API enablement.

Strong knowledge of global digital banking regulations and infrastructure standardization (ISO, NIST, SOC2).

Strategic capacity to guide national-level fintech transformation through infrastructure modernization.
Preferred Qualifications

Advanced academic or professional qualification in Cloud Systems, Digital Infrastructure, or Financial Technology.

Certified Cloud Architect or Enterprise Transformation Leader credentials.

Experience leading multi-jurisdictional digital banking projects across emerging markets.
