Role Overview
This strategic leadership role is designed for a visionary fintech executive responsible for defining, architecting, and governing next-generation digital banking infrastructures across the Gulf and international markets. The Global Head will spearhead API-driven financial ecosystems, integrating consumer banking, corporate finance, wealth management, and embedded finance within a modular, open architecture.
This is an institutional-scale role, focusing on scalability, security, regulatory alignment, and platform monetization, rather than operational day-to-day banking management. The role requires strategic foresight, technological depth, and international regulatory literacy.
Core Responsibilities

Architect and govern modular digital banking platforms capable of supporting millions of concurrent users and real-time transaction processing

Lead the development of open banking APIs, partnerships, and third-party integrations

Design secure, compliant, and auditable financial infrastructures with enterprise-grade resilience

Oversee cross-border payment integration, digital identity management, and multi-currency processing

Define strategic roadmaps for embedded finance, digital lending, and AI-enabled financial services

Ensure regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions including Bahrain, GCC, and international frameworks

Drive innovation and R&D programs, mentoring senior fintech architects and product strategists
Candidate Profile

15+ years in digital banking, fintech architecture, or payment ecosystems

Proven record in large-scale platform architecture, open finance, and cross-border payment networks

Deep understanding of GCC and international financial regulations, API-driven architectures, and cloud-native fintech systems

Strong strategic and operational leadership across technology, compliance, and product domains
Salary Structure (Bahrain – Executive Level)

Base Salary: BHD 18,000 – 25,000 per month

Annual Performance Bonus: 30–50% based on adoption metrics, transaction volume growth, and regulatory compliance excellence
