Executive Context

The Global Head of DeFi & Tokenized Markets will lead the conceptualization, development, and scaling of decentralized financial ecosystems that redefine how assets are issued, traded, and managed.

This role is deeply embedded in the future of finance, requiring mastery of blockchain protocols, token economies, decentralized exchanges (DEXs), and programmable financial instruments. The successful candidate will bridge traditional finance with decentralized infrastructures, enabling compliant, scalable, and innovative digital asset markets across the GCC.

Strategic Responsibilities

I. DeFi Ecosystem Architecture

• Design and deploy decentralized financial platforms including lending protocols, liquidity pools, and staking systems.

• Architect smart contract ecosystems ensuring security, efficiency, and scalability.

• Evaluate Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain solutions for optimal deployment.

II. Tokenized Asset Frameworks

• Develop frameworks for tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs), including securities, commodities, and real estate.

• Establish valuation, liquidity, and governance mechanisms for tokenized assets.

• Integrate tokenized markets with traditional financial systems.

III. Market Infrastructure & Liquidity Engineering

• Design decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and automated market maker (AMM) models.

• Implement liquidity provisioning strategies and yield optimization mechanisms.

• Analyze market dynamics to ensure stability and efficiency.

IV. Regulatory & Compliance Strategy

• Align DeFi initiatives with Oman’s and GCC’s evolving digital asset regulations.

• Develop compliance frameworks for decentralized systems without compromising innovation.

• Engage with policymakers to shape regulatory discourse.

Candidate Requirements

• 12+ years in blockchain, digital finance, or financial markets innovation.

• Deep technical knowledge of Ethereum, Solidity, smart contracts, and DeFi protocols.

• Experience with tokenomics design and decentralized governance models.

• Strong understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and asset management.

• Proven leadership in building and scaling complex fintech ecosystems.
