Role Overview

Oman is strategically advancing its role in sovereign digital finance by focusing on CBDC interoperability, AI-powered treasury intelligence, and digitized cross-border settlement infrastructures. The Global Head of CBDC Integration & Cross-Border Treasury Systems will be responsible for creating next-generation settlement frameworks, ensuring Oman becomes a recognized player in international sovereign digital finance ecosystems.

This role requires exceptional leadership at the intersection of central banking, fintech infrastructure, and cross-border trade finance, driving both regional alignment and global interoperability.

Strategic Mandates

• Lead the design and deployment of interoperable CBDC frameworks for GCC and global corridors.

• Build AI-optimized liquidity management systems for sovereign funds and institutional investors.

• Digitize trade finance and cross-border commercial settlements using blockchain-based infrastructures.

• Establish international partnerships with central banks, fintech consortiums, and regulatory bodies.

• Position Oman as a strategic fintech connector between GCC, Asia, and Europe.

Candidate Profile

• 15+ years in treasury, CBDCs, or cross-border payments infrastructure.

• Strong expertise in AI-powered liquidity platforms and blockchain-based settlements.

• Proven experience in multi-market CBDC integration projects.

• Global reputation for leading fintech infrastructure transformation.
