Position Summary
The Global Head of Blockchain Ecosystems & Digital Asset Strategy will direct the development of next-generation distributed ledger ecosystems, driving Qatar’s transition into an advanced digital asset economy. This role involves architecting scalable blockchain solutions, enabling interoperability between traditional and decentralized finance, and aligning strategic frameworks with international standards for digital asset regulation and innovation.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and oversee Qatar’s strategic roadmap for blockchain and digital asset adoption.

Architect enterprise-grade DLT infrastructures supporting tokenization, digital securities, and DeFi platforms.

Implement digital asset custody, transaction integrity, and multi-signature governance models.

Collaborate with regulators to ensure compliance with FATF, IOSCO, and emerging GCC digital asset policies.

Integrate blockchain interoperability layers supporting cross-border remittances and digital currency exchanges.

Lead research initiatives in smart contract auditing, zero-knowledge proofs, and quantum-safe cryptography.

Build global partnerships with blockchain consortia, fintech innovators, and institutional asset platforms.

Provide executive advisory reports on blockchain risk, regulation, and infrastructure development.
Qualifications
-
Master’s degree in Blockchain Systems, Financial Engineering, or Computer Science.

10+ years’ experience in blockchain architecture, fintech innovation, or digital asset management.

Expertise in Ethereum, Hyperledger, or Cosmos frameworks; proficiency in Solidity and smart contract design.

Understanding of international regulatory frameworks governing virtual assets and tokenized markets.

Exceptional leadership and multi-stakeholder collaboration experience.
