Strategic Role Definition
This role exists to conceptualize, architect, and operationalize next-generation payment ecosystems capable of supporting instant payments, large-volume merchant flows, and cross-platform financial interoperability at national and regional scale.
The Global Head will shape how value moves digitally across consumer, enterprise, and institutional environments—balancing speed, security, transparency, and regulatory compliance within a rapidly evolving fintech landscape.
Core Responsibilities

Architect real-time payment platforms supporting instant settlement, continuous availability, and massive concurrency

Design payment orchestration layers integrating wallets, merchant acquiring systems, and account-to-account rails

Lead adoption of international payment messaging standards, interoperability frameworks, and API ecosystems

Establish fraud-resilient payment designs using behavioral analytics, tokenization, and risk-adaptive controls

Align payment platforms with Saudi financial regulations, cybersecurity frameworks, and operational risk standards

Define strategic roadmaps for next-generation payment innovation, including programmable payments and embedded finance

Lead cross-functional teams spanning payments engineering, platform operations, and financial risk specialists
Professional Requirements

14+ years in digital payments, fintech infrastructure, or financial networks

Proven leadership in high-volume, real-time transaction platforms

Deep expertise in payments architecture, settlement models, and transaction risk management

Strong strategic communication skills and executive-level stakeholder engagement

Advanced degree in Engineering, Finance, or Financial Systems preferred
Salary & Compensation Structure (Indicative)

Base Annual Salary: SAR 580,000 – SAR 780,000

Annual Performance Incentive: 30% of base salary
