Role Overview

The Global Head of Digital Payments Infrastructure & Financial Systems Integration will guide the next-generation evolution of Kuwait’s digital payment architecture, embedding interoperable, real-time, and AI-enhanced systems into domestic and international finance networks. This role focuses on building a borderless payment ecosystem integrating open banking, digital identity, and tokenized transaction frameworks.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the design and expansion of a multi-rail payment infrastructure connecting banks, fintechs, and digital wallets across GCC and international corridors.

• Implement advanced settlement technologies (instant payments, tokenized transfers, smart routing algorithms).

• Integrate AI-enhanced transaction analytics to optimize liquidity, fraud detection, and cross-network flow efficiency.

• Drive adoption of ISO 20022, open API frameworks, and cross-border regulatory interoperability.

• Collaborate with payment regulators and global technology partners to establish unified transaction standards for multi-currency ecosystems.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 15 years in digital payments, financial infrastructure strategy, or fintech systems engineering.

• Proven expertise in real-time payments, interoperability architecture, and open banking ecosystems.

• Advanced degree in Financial Technology, Systems Engineering, or Digital Economics.

• Deep understanding of GCC regulatory frameworks, digital identity systems, and multi-asset payment channels.
